Drama.

There’s drama and then there’s drama… but what if, what if the dramatic things in this life are meant to refine, build muscle and make us better? What if we could use drama to transform and change us… spin them into beautiful cords of gold that remind us that we are meant to learn and grow from life’s challenges? “We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop…
Endurance
And endurance develops strength of character~ and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And hope doesn’t disappoint.” Romans 5:3-5

This, see drama needs to lead us to be better. Embrace the challenge and know that you are working on building spiritual muscle. Muscle that endures and promises hope. Whether you’re a leader managing the drama of a team, a parent wading through the drama of a two year old or a 15 year old (same-same, as my grandson used to say) or knee deep in the drama of a relationship, fight the temptation to let the drama win. Dig down deep and ask what the lessons are, do the heavy lifting of self-reflection and look in your own circle, discover the beauty of strength, endurance and confident hope.
